MyDrawingBoard's Copy of The To read and/or print out a font that is displayed online requires that your computer hold all the elements of that font. That is why sometimes you will see an exotic page with plain old System fonts... because the webmaster used a fancy, exotic font he might have on his machine but you don't. For the first part of the Hebrew Directory our webmaster scanned the Hebrew text and cut and pasted it on the pages - that took forever. So he relented to the simple plan of asking you to download and load into your system the same Hebrew font he's using. And this is how to do it: First: download the font into a handy directory. To Download,RIGHT click here with the right button of your mouse and save it to that handy directory. You may need to supply your usr-id and password to continue. Second: Click on START / SETTINGS / CONTROL PANEL and then click on the FONTS icon. Then click on FILE / INSTALL NEW FONT. Click to find the directory you saved the Hebrew.FON into and it will appear in the New Fonts field, Click OK and the rest is taken care of by your system. After which, whenever you come across Hebrew on the Net, you will see it. |
